Music Projects

As a composer, James is a storyteller. In the main, it’s the lyrics that drive him, more so than the music. It’s about the story, the telling of a tale… capturing an emotion, an interaction… and bringing the person, the situation, the dilemma, the resolution, to life. Listen to James’ Desperation album… those songs are all stories!

With a voice that’s drawn comparisons to Chris Rea and Australia’s own Folk-Rock legend, Glenn Cardier, James has written, recorded and released three cross-genre albums to date, supported by a range of great collaborating musicians and backing vocalists. Each album is from a different stage in his professional life and each has its own unique style

Indian Pacific
